The Facade

I have a really close friend who puts up a front.

"I'm Kyssa. I'm crazy and loud and annoying....."

The list goes on. Recently a friend inadvertantly made her truly realize that she, too, has a front. She thought she was being honest with herself and the people around her. But she's not as happy-go-lucky as people would like to think. Around some people, she feels much more calm, more relaxed....Less pretend. Sure, she has her moments (or days...or weeks) where she really is that cheerful girl...She really is in there somewhere. You just have to find her. Dig deep. Under the dust and through the cobwebs. Just keep looking.

I think I know who you are talking about. Sweet. Well Maybe not... at least I think I do know and that's all that matters! so hahaha! Booya in your face. Actually I just reread your post and now i don't think I know who it is anymore. shit. I need to just stop analyzing... okay so here are my thoughts on the subject matter:

Many people have fronts. Some have a better front or deeper ones I guess than others. Maybe if we all just dig deep we could find the fronts in everybody. We just need to take the time to care and keep looking. Many put on a smiling face just because that's what everybody knows her as. In fact, I know that there's nobody on this planet that is always happy with nothing negative riding inside her cranium. Everybody has their moments. Really they do. I just think it would be great if more people could make a more relaxed, calm, and less pretend environment. I think we'd all learn a little something from one another. I'll definitely try harder to dig deep into the cobwebs to find that less pretend person. That person I am sure is way kick ass. Oh yeah! Good post K-diddy!

Either way, your friend sounds like a beautiful, wonderful, spunky girl that rocks everyone's face off because you make them laugh, smile, and happy. Everyone has a front and they use it very well. But what you may assume as a front might just be the person in a truly happy state. That person may be hiding a lot underneath there belt, but when they are with friends, they are relaxed and calm and can be themselves. Their friends love them for that person and would love them even more for the person they don't show. Fronts can be a good thing also. THey can shelter you from harm, but you must be careful that you don't harm yourself while doing so. I know that I would love this person no matter what front they have because you don't hate a person for their faults. You love them even more. Just make sure not to run into any spiders in those cobwebs. Some people are really scared of spiders. *creepy crawly*
