Rambling again...

I don't really have anything to say. So I'm just going to blab. But what to talk about.....Hmmm. You know what I love about kids? They need you. At work today I had about 4 kids hanging on me and practically smothering me. On some days that would bug the crap out of me, but today I just needed a hug from someone who likes me just because I'm nice and I'm the new teacher so I won't yell at them. Kids are brutally honest. If they think your breath smells, they'll tell you. If they don't like your shoes they'll tell you. If they're not having fun, they won't pretend. But they need you. I got a picture from a little girl named Hailey on my second day of work. She said it was for me because she loved me. Now, it's not the deepest or truest love, but it still feels great to know that someone likes you just because. That's one of the best feelings in the world...Being needed, or wanted. And for me that's something I love about working with kids. They don't judge you, they like you until you deserve for them to not like you, they're honest, they're quick to forgive and forget, and all they want out of you is a hug and a friend, they're innocent, they aren't afraid of loving people because of that innocence. Just be a kid at heart and life will be wonderful.
