Occurances of the Number Three
Today at work I was thinking about this whole third wheel thing that everyone's talking about. And I got to thinking, 3 is way better than 2 in a lot of cases. Sure, two is good for "certain things" *wink wink,* but 3 is a great number and here are a few reasons why. Some are kinda dumb and most of them are a bit of a stretch but I thought I'd try to make a point, even though I don't know how well it came across. Here goes nothing...
3. Where would the Father and Son be without the Spirit?
3. What kind of triangle could stand with only two sides?
3. Pants would be pretty useless with only two holes.
3. Where would red and yellow be without blue?
3. Think of all the sad kids and their two-wheeled tricycles.
3. You've never heard of the Two Muskateers for a reason.
3. A three tone chord is much more interesting than a two tone.
3. There are three essential parts to any movie or play: rising action, climax, and falling action.
3. Third time's the charm!
3. Three words: Three layer cake.
3. Twins are cool...Triplets are cooler.
3. One of the most common male fantasies...Threesome.
3. Many cameras would be in a sad state of repair due to faulty tripods.
3. It's recommended that you sleep in three hour incraments to get the most beneficial rest.
3. A three octave range is far more impressive than a mere two octaves.
3. How sad would it be to get a double-digit paycheck rather then a triple-digit one?
3. Three feet is a yard. Two feet is...um...Two feet.
3. My hat, it has three corners...
3. Three little pigs...
3. If two heads are better than one, three is EVEN BETTER!
3. It's much better to have two people to hold onto than just one.
3. And finally, it's much more fun for one, two, and three if three gets to be and IS happy for one and two. And trust me, she is.
So the moral of a day's worth of pondering this very thought is that it's great to be the third wheel, especially when the other option is not being a wheel at all...
