Losing but Holding On Tight

Our friend Erin (there's a link to her Xanga on my link page) had a thought on friendship that I'd like to expand upon. It's 3:30 in the morning, so pardon me if this is incredibly cheesy.

Friends are like pieces to a puzzle, and we all grow together and make a pretty picture. But then we go away...And we grow seperately. Now, I know what you're thinking...The puzzle is ruined. It's not a pretty picture anymore. But maybe we grew seperately so we could come back together and make a different picture. Yeah...That got kinda cheesy, but I think you get the idea. Maybe it's time for bed.

That'd be so cool. I like making new pictures. I really like that idea :D Good job. We could be a picture of a boat, but then next year we could be a sunset, and then next year we could be a big tall building. And the puzzle could have happy or sad parts depending on how our lives went that year. That's awesome. I want to be a side piece!!! Please? I know I'm not a corner piece, because I don't hold everyone together, that'd be K.Renae because she ties different groups together, and organizes really well, and is the center of the phone tree. But I think I'm at least a side piece, besides when I do puzzles, that's the only thing I do, and then I just leave the middle unfinished :)

I like puzzles, and I agree with your thoughts here, no matter how cheesy they sound. We're always growing and changing, but the cool part is we still TRY to remake the puzzle, and it's always a beautiful thing.
