All Growed Up!
So remember last time, when I said that I didn't really have anything to post about? Well, this time I totally do!! Chris proposed to me and I reluctantly agreed. :)
I know E at least wanted to hear the story so here it goes: We went camping out at Roy Lake and one night we were sitting around the campfire (because that's what you do when you go camping) and all of a sudden he decided we needed some more wood on the fire, then he dropped down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I seriously totally and completely thought it was a joke! I don't think I even said yes until a good 10 minutes later. Anyway, we're really excited and hopefully you'll all be able to come for the wedding. The date is May 16, 2009, so clear your calendars people!!!
And now for the most important part...the ring. He's a giant turd and has actually had the freaking thing since like last October. And, to make it even worse, every one else knew but me. His parents, my parents and a bunch of friends here in town knew. I totally got played. But I suppose I'm ok with that :) It's a beautiful ring though, and if I had to pick out my own engagement ring, I totally would have picked this one.
So overall, it's bee a pretty good summer.
