So it seems as though plans may have changed again. After the Rad Tech pinning ceremony (a two and a half hour long event in which many inside jokes were exchanged and much awkwardness ensued all with the goal of literally giving each student a pin and saying their oath of Radiology-ic-ness-es) Chris's boss at the hospital came up and pretty much offered him a job at Avera.
First, you should know that he wants to stay in the ND, SD, MN area but RT jobs are few and far between up here. Sure, if we lived in California, Florida or Arizona he'd have job offers coming out his butthole. Anyway, I digress.
So it looks as though we'll probably be staying in Aberdeen for a few years. But as horrible as it seemes, it actually makes things a lot easier. I'll go to Northern because it just makes sense. I'll quit at Payless because it just makes sense (I haven't been able to talk myself into actually quitting, thinking that my next job would only last a few months and holy crap what a waste of time). Plus I think it will be better for Chris and me to stay here. We've got friends and family here so it won't be just us. Alone. All the time.
So as much as I hate Aberdeen I told Chris he has to take the job even though he's a giant sweetheart and wasn't going to take it just because I hate this town. So it's a good thing. I'll finish school and whatnot and Chris can get some more CT experience and we'll both be happier in the long run....I hope.

Well it's good that he's got a job and is getting some experience. Besides, after a while, then he'll be more qualified for a job somewhere else. So that'd be good! And northern is a good school, and the credits transfer well if you did go somewhere else. And you don't have to move, which sucks. But I still wish you were moving to mpls :(
so letz go party ;) btw, tell chris i say hello! hope all is well....
